The experienced professionals at Jackson Landscaping know hydroseeding can help to establish a lush healthy lawn or bring life back to a yard that is past its prime. Hydroseeding is a great alternative to sod as it is more flexible and affordable with an excellent success rate. Our hydroseed machines mix together seed, water, fertilizer, tackifier (which is similar to a glue), and green wood fiber mulch to create slurry. We then spray the slurry on the ground using a high pressure hose which helps it to reach all kinds of terrain which may be difficult to reach using more traditional methods. When the slurry dries, it creates a crust over the ground, protecting the area from erosion. The crust protects the seeds from being washed away in the rain or eaten by birds. This method has a high rate of success and works quickly so you will havce a magnificent new lawn in no time!
